Solar2 has developed proposals for a solar farm on land 1.5km east of Cumnor. Land at Harcourt Hill, Oxford OX2 9AT. The site area is c.30ha.
Located on south facing agricultural land with wooded areas which provide an element of natural screening.
The project will generate clean, renewable energy through photovoltaic (PV) solar panels.
The project will be temporary whilst also providing an enhanced biodiversity benefit to local wildlife during the life of the project.
